Come and join our community of Mothers-to-be at one of our wonderful Pregnancy courses or workshops.

If you are over 35 weeks then drop in classes are available for £13.75

This 4 week pregnancy course is designed to empower you through movement. Growing strength and flexibility in the areas of the body that are under more stress in Pregnancy and most needed during labour. Learning breathing techniques, birth movements as well as how to have an active labour.
 

You’ll get to meet other local Mamas and be offered a place on the community WhatsApp group.

Week 1: Breathing techniques for a calm, empowered and positive birth

Week 2: Hips - strengthening and stretching our hips and learning about the importance of our pelvic floor exercises.

Week 3: Posture - Concentrating on opening the chest and stretching the back which will help to ease back discomfort.

Week 4: Yin & Yoga Nidra - Ending the course with a beautifully relaxing, slow and restorative yin class and a meditative sleep.

Pelvic Floor Workshop
With Celia James, perinatal specialist physiotherapist

TBC 8-9pm

Union Ramsgate

£10 (10% discount to anyone who has attended a Motherhooding Course)

This workshop is suitable for both Pre & Postnatal Mothers.

We will cover:
What is your pelvic floor and what does it do for us/what does it do when it’s functioning well.


The changes and challenges the pelvic floor goes through during pregnancy and birth.


What isn’t normal and what to do about it.


How to look after your pelvic floor during. Pregnancy, birth and beyond

 

The workshop is a mix of information, practicing pelvic floor exercise and practical advice.

There will be Q&A at the end
